Community Food Drive

Did you know nearly 1-in-5 Maine children live in a “food insecure” household?

Drop your unopened nonperishables off by 10/31

Are you going to soon be packing up to venture to warmer locales for the winter? Rather than tossing away all of the items in your kitchen cupboards, we’re asking for your help to put some of them to good use!

From now thru Friday, October 31, we’re asking for your help in collecting unopened nonperishables for our fall Community Food Drive. Drop off items such as soups, pastas, sauces, rice, crackers and snacks, etc. right in town at The Neighborhood House. We’ll box them up and deliver them to the Bar Harbor Food Pantry for you. You end up with clean cupboards and help combat food insecurity at the same time. It’s a win-win!

Questions? Stop by or give us a call at 276-5039.
