Bash at the Boatyard
The “Bash at the Boatyard” summer FUNdraiser for The Neighborhood House is scheduled for Thursday, July 10 at 6:00pm. Held at Abel’s Yacht Yard along Somes Sound, all proceeds from the evening go to support the year ‘round slate of programs, events and activities at The Neighborhood House.
Tickets are available in advance for $125/ea. and can be purchased online by visiting the “Bash at the Boatyard” page on our website, in person at our main office during normal business hours, or by giving us a call at (207)276-5039. Tickets have sold out the past several years, so don’t miss the boat!
We like to keep the Bash as laid-back as possible, so instead of a stuffy dinner think more of a fun cocktail party where you can mix with lots of familiar faces, enjoy some tremendously creative morsels (prepared by Bar Harbor Catering Company), enjoy complimentary beer & wine (cash bar available as well), and share plenty of laughter. If that’s not enough, we’ll also have a silent auction to peruse featuring plenty of local art, jewelry, home-goods and a few surprises as well.
We hear from many guests that they feel like it’s one of the most enjoyable events of the summer. Come find out for yourself! It’s a great way to show your support for The Neighborhood House and have a fun evening out at the same time.
