Tickets Going Fast for Boatyard Bash

Special Thanks to Our Sponsors

The Bash at the Boatyard sets sail Thursday, July 13, and more than 300 tickets already spoken for. Abel’s Yacht Yard will continue to serve as the venue for the Bash, but this year’s party will be taking place further up the hill in a larger set of boat bays (the boat bay utilized in past years is prepping for a major renovation).

Luckily, this small shift in location allows for the accommodation of more guests. So while in previous years the Bash would already be nearly “sold out,” the extra space means a limited number of tickets still remain! Tickets can be purchased online, via phone at (207)276-5039, or drop by our main office during normal hours. Even with this extra space, we still expect to fill the guest list in advance of July 13, so please act fast if you’d like to attend.

A two hour evening cruise aboard Wizbee (pictured), a classic Bunker & Ellis lobster yacht is just one of the unique offerings in the silent auction. This item also includes a charcuterie board provided by Milk & Honey, so all you need to do is bring 6-8 friends (and maybe some beverages) for a perfect time on the water!

Proceeds from the Bash at the Boatyard help support the year ‘round slate of activities and celebrations at The Neighborhood House. The evening is run as a “cocktail party” style event with a variety of tasty bites prepared by Bar Harbor Catering Co. The night also includes a curated silent auction, complimentary beer & wine along with a full cash bar, and live jazz from the MDI High School music department.

You can read more about the Bash here, or feel free to stop by or give us a call with any questions.
