Located at the end of Main Street in Northeast Harbor, The Neighborhood House has served residents of Mount Desert for nearly a century with numerous recreational, cultural, and educational events and activities. Once you are done exploring our website, feel free to stop by anytime and see for yourself all the exciting happenings at the House! We may not have quite reached the mid-way point of winter, but there are still plenty of exciting events and activities to get us down the homestretch and into spring!
An Evening at The Asticou

The popular "Evening at The Asticou" Benefit Gala & Auction, sponsored by Bar Harbor Bank and Trust, will take place on Thursday, June 24. Tickets may be RSVP's in the main office of The Neighborhood House, or by calling 276-5039. The evening includes complimentary hors d'oeuvres, beer & wine, live music, and a silent auction. All proceeds will go directly to our summer camp scholarship program, which assists more than a quarter of all families participating in our camp program.
