An online contribution is a quick and easy way to make a difference and show your support for The Neighborhood House. You can make a one time gift, or have the option to sign up for a recurring monthly pledge.
Other Ways to Contribute
VIA AUTOMATIC MONTHLY WITHDRAWAL
Consider setting up a small automatic monthly donation. A little bit goes a long way and can make a HUGE difference over the course of a year. All you need to do is fill out an ACH Automated Withdrawal Form, and we’ll take care of the rest.
Via Mail or Telephone
If you prefer, you can also make a contribution via mail or over the phone. We are able to accept Visa, Mastercard, and Discover over the phone at (207)276-5039. Alternatively, checks can be mailed to:
The Neighborhood House, PO Box 332, Northeast Harbor, ME 04662
While You Shop
We encourage everyone to shop local and support our hard working Mt. Desert and MDI merchants. However, you can still make a positive impact locally even with those items you may find yourself purchasing online. The Neighborhood House is part of the Amazon Smile program, meaning a small percentage of your qualifying Amazon purchases will be donated directly to The Neighborhood House! If you're an Amazon Prime member, just go to www.smile.amazon.com and designate "Neighborhood House Club" as the organization you would like to support.
Give Your Time & Talents
If you’ve ever heard the cheers coming from the soccer field on a Saturday morning, enjoyed a hamburger at the Memorial Day Cookout, or joined us for the Bash at the Boatyard, you know that volunteers are a tremendously critical part of what makes The Neighborhood House so successful. We are tremendously fortunate to have a strong group of friends and supporters who enjoy giving back to their community by offering their time and efforts here at The Neighborhood House.
In addition to helping make programs and events run smoothly, these volunteer efforts also provide a simple and rewarding chance for those who like to be active members of our community. From helping in the kitchen at the Community Café or decorating for the Sweetheart Valentine Dance, to teaching a young group of players the fundamentals of basketball—there’s an opportunity for everyone to make a difference.
