FITNESS ROOM CLASSES
Yoga Classes: Instructor Penny Curtis offers an assortment of Iyengar-style Hatha Yoga classes to chose from. The classes emphasize core and extremity strength, proper body alignment in the poses and increased range of motion in the joints. All levels are welcome. Classes are held at The Neighborhood House in June, at the Union Church, NEH in July and August.

Active Older Adults (AOA): This popular class meets twice a week on Tuesdays and Thursdays for an hour of gentle aerobic exercise, functional strength training and mild stretching. There is no charge for this class, however a physician's approval is required for everyone enrolled.

Indoor Cycling: Join us on the Lower Level for this fun new offering. Get an energizing cardio workout designed for people of all fitness levels. Try our cycling classes, or the split cycling/yoga class. Cost is $7.00/class, or $25.00 for 5.

Physical Perfection:
If you're looking to get in shape, or improve your health in a relacxed yet energetic environment, this class is for you! Instructor Mark Elliott uses a mixture of Yoga, pilates, and stretching to help you greatly improve your flexibility, strength, and overall health and well-being. Classes are scheduled for Monday and Wednesday mornings during the summer. For exact times, and other information, please give us a call.
Personal Training: Personal training sessions with our certified personal trainer are also available by appointment. For rates and appointments, please call Penny Curtis at 276-5039. Individuals who request personal training sessions must be registered members of the Community Fitness Room.
