May 25 11:30 am	Annual Memorial Day BBQ Join us as we kick off the unofficial start of summer with a community cookout following the parade along Main Street and presentation by the VFW on the Town Green. This year's festivities will include hamburgers and hotdogs grilled up by the NHH Board of Directors and a dedicated group of volunteers, complete with dessert. It's a great way to celebrate summer, our community, and The Neighborhood House!

Thursday, June 18 6:30 pm	Benefit Gala & Silent Auction The Annual Gala and Silent Auction to benefit The Neighborhood House not only has become a rite of spring, but it also serves as a cermonial kickoff to summer as well. This important event not only provides a fun way to show your support for The Neighborhood House, but it also assists us in offering Summer Camp Scholarships, and other important youth programs as well. This evening includes complementary wine and hors d'oeuvres, cash bar, live music, as well as a silent auction with plenty of unique and interesting items to bid on. Tuesday, July 7 6:00 pm	Summer Celebration with "Alex the Jester" Throughout the year, The Neighborhood House and Northeast Harbor Library work together to serve the community, and this is our chance to celebrate! We're excited to welcome award winning performer "Alex The Jester" to Northeast Harbor. Alex's all-ages performance includes "daring stunts, mind-bending sight gags, dazzling visual spectacle, musical capers and physical feats," and is free to the public! Join us afterwards for a reception with Alex, along with complimentary appetizers and drink.

Wednesday, August 5	Bike Bonanza and Ice Cream Social! A parade and ice-cream sundaes - need we say more? Our largest public event of the summer, this all-ages event is a great opportunity to have a little fun, and enjoy an ice cream sundae complete with the world famous NHH homemade hot fudge sauce. We'll provide all the sparkles, spangles, balloons and streamers to decorate your bike or scooter - all you need to bring is a smile and your appetite!

Friday, August 21	Close of Summer Camps Parents & grandparents are invited to join in the last day of summer camp with the ritual Close of Camp Cookout. All campers from throughout the summer along with their families are encouraged to stop by for a hamburger or hotdog, and maybe even a dip in the pool. Feel free to bring a side dish or dessert to share, as we expect another wonderful turnout!
